Love the whimsical feel in this poem, especially the usage of "they've leaved" and "then." Because, like flowing water, events happen just that fast: "And then, and then, and then." Great idea!

i absolutly HATE HATE HATE when that happens. The worst for me is when I'm driving in my car and get a great idea but by the time i get somewhere to write it down, i forget!This was a very well done poem about such problems. :)

i cant tell you how many times i have woken up in the middle of the night with an idea. its such a familiar thing. ususally it doesnt make paper though. also 2 am is when my creativity kicks in. 3/4 of my trilogy was written from 11 pm to 4 am. the rest was written in school. neat poem.-kae
