I love the style you wrote this in. And I honestly didn't realize what Aki was about to do.
However, for some reason i feel like the ending was a bit rushed. Like maybe you should have had one more chapter where we slowly see Kizuna coming out of his depression and then he realizes that he can only depend on himself.
Also, I feel like this store has a couple existentialistic themes, was that intended? Or just a coincidence? An overlap in ideas?

Wow... I read this in a few hours, and I really like it! The ending was so sad, it made me cry. You're a really good writer, the characters were well-thought out and deep, and English class is making me write weird. I kept on screaming updates about what was going on in the story to my friends... I've also told one of them to read the story. Again, I really love this story!

The tone of the story overall is very detached, and the ending is somewhat inconclusive. Even though the story is done, it doesn't feel like it's finished. The climax too had a somewhat detached feeling about it. Numb, in that case, I suppose.

...It's not the ending I was expecting, but it stands on it's own merit. Because of the somewhat reserved nature of the immortals, I think the tone complements the story well.

Overall- good job.

This is remarkable. I don't know how you've gotten so few reviews, but your writing is amazing. I'll certainly continue the story, and probably add you to my fav list in a few more chapters.

I really like this story. I didn't think I would at first, but this has proven to be both unique, and engrossing. Most stories that use first-person narration turn out kind of flat, but you've made your veiwpoint character genuinely interesting, more 'real' then most writers do. I look forwad to reading more of this story.
