Jesus-freak 2006-11-06 . chapter 4AH! I can't believe I missed that you had put up the next chapter!
*kicks self* Terrible, terrible person I am!
Another very well written chapter.
But what happened to his cellmate? Was he unconscious when this all happened, or did he just turn and leave without looking back?
I'm very intruiged. And who's this other survivor? Hmm... Intruiging. |
Spooky Potatoes 2006-02-20 . chapter 3Well, this is a good story. A bit confusing in the first chapter, though: you've actually presented quite a convincing argument against Christianity. Anyway, that aside, I like this plot, and I look forward to more. |
Jesus-freak 2006-01-28 . chapter 3Another incredible chapter... I don't have much thoughts to write on it right now, because stupid fictionpress wasn't letting me review when I actually read it. So I'll come back later and re-read it and give my full thoughts. Can't wait for the next chapter :D |
Keskonrix 2006-01-27 . chapter 3I second Caitir's request for more... Time for the story to go to my favorites.
Nothing to object about this chapter, and you introduce some interesting plot details. Not only the mission that Cadell is sent to, but you also introduce that Cynthia, who I would expect to play some kind of role in future chapters, but I won't speculate on what kind of role that will be.
To sum up, just go ahead with the story! |
 Caitir 2006-01-26 . chapter 3*is firmly addicted*
Wow. This was... amazing. Only critique is that at the beginning of the last section, you used Daniel's name a noticeably large amount. Other than that... incredible. I want more! |
Caitir 2006-01-19 . chapter 2Beautiful, but also heartbreaking. Which is, of course, the intended effect. I love this... keep it coming, dear! |
Jesus-freak 2006-01-19 . chapter 2Another incredible chapter. The whole idea is absolutely terrifying, and yet it's so close to being a possibility, despite what people try to convince themselves.
I really liked the way you wove the Lord's Prayer into the first half of the chapter, it added a little bit of tension and in a way the suddenness of everything, added an extra edge to it. Very well done.
Can't wait for the nect chapter. |
Keskonrix 2006-01-19 . chapter 1A future scenario in which Christians are persecuted... this is more or less excactly what the book of Revelation prophecies will happen some time before Christ's Second Coming. So, to anyone believing that the Bible is inerrant (and that Revelation does not refer to past events), this scenario is anything else than unrealistic - although I do hope we've some more time left than in your story!
I am looking forward to seeing the story develop, although it is of course clear which side will prevail in the end ;-) |
Handmaiden4Him 2006-01-18 . chapter 1This is amazing work! It is a scary thought that you bring up here but wonderfully written and you have me hooked from the begining. Nice job! Keep it up. God bless!=) |
Jesus-freak 2006-01-13 . chapter 1Well, as I said when you sent me this to read ages and ages ago, I'm hooked. It sounds completely and utterly amazing. Almost makes me want to go continue my crazy story I started writing about Christian's being completely opressed in the future by a bunch of crazy, psycopathic satanists. Haha, except that I won't work on it, because I have too many other things to focus on right now!
It's a very scary ideal, but I think what is scarier, is that it could happen. Many people will automatically jump up and claim that this idea is in fact impossible, and would never happen, but I don't agree. Already in Canada even, Bills are being presented which if passed could lead to Christians being jailed for preaching certain parts of the bible.
This isn't the first story I've read along these lines; it almost makes you wonder if maybe, just maybe God is trying to forwarn us through literature about what is to come.
Can't wait for the next chapter, you've got me hooked! |
