Thank you so much for your review! I really love the last half of this pem particularly...very vivid.

Powerful, I love the imagery, it expresses how we seek release from pain in writing (and implicity likens that to cutting? at least to bleeding). I love the rhymes in the second part, they could even be interpreted as the songs, the "morbid lullabies" the speaker is listening to. In any case a beautiful poem that I can relate to.

This could be explored more in depth, but the ending line has quite a good effect. I liked the second one better since it had that childish sing song feel to it that feels slightly morbid. thank you for your reviews and hope you have happier days :) life's too short you know?

Nice...kind of overly angst, but I can say I've had those days, so who am I to complain. I especially like the first part since whenever I'm down I also turn to two things: writing and music. These two poems go great together, as well. Keep writing.

this is an incredible poem. even though its short, the power of it grips you from the moment you read it. the last two lines really make a shiver run down the spine!
