abuseThe cuteness murdered me. But in that wonderful, murderous way. In the line about water and how one should only be wet when naked and in a shower, I was like... hm... the implications are so wonderful...

abuseFirstly...it made me warm and fuzzy inside! Hah...I really liked this.

I liked the emphasis of smell. That was quite poignant. I've always been amazed how smell is entirely important when it comes to home.

One thing: "Hunter took a deep breath, taking the scents and the feelings of home into him as he set aside the small wicker basket he was carrying and closed the door behind him."

It felt long and convoluted when I first read it. Maybe you could break the thought up a bit to clear up your space. Maybe...

"Hunter took a deep breath, taking the scents and the feelings of home into him.(or "inside", etc.)He set aside the small wicker basket he was carrying and closed the door behind him."

*shruggs* Just a thought. Your the master, work your magic. ;-)

I loved this: "Hunter did not do wet unless it was naked and in the shower."

I laughed out loud.

Anyway...I really liked this piece. It was comforting. Good job!

abuseDefinitely cute. I love dogs.

Gary certainly is the polar opposite of Hunter, and I like how Hunter refers to Gary as his funside, since truthfully it does seem that way.
