This was a terrific story. :)

That had to be the cutest thing ever. Have you ever read the book "Silent Night"? It was very good. It was about the Christmas Truce. I must say, it was such a good idea having the story being told by a veteran to a child. It made it more...close to home, kind of? I would picture this in some tv show or something...like having the flashbacks and all that stuff. Very good.
