What an odd ending. Really, really odd. The story within a story ending, I mean. The part with Sage at the very very end is quite nice.

O.o Ory and Pet in the bushes. I think "shoot up into her hairline" would be a better description for the reader's eyebrows. He hasn't even taken Pet out for dinner! :P

Oh, this is classic. I am interested, though, to know what the reader is doing... it's like there's something else going on, a kind of meta-story...
