| lemke 2006-08-04 ch 1, | Ciao 'moonsliver86'! Thankyou for the review for my poem, 'Melody of Mine'. Your poem, 'My Universe', is absolutely amazing. Though I can't exactly empathise with its words, my best friend would appreciate its meaning, so I may I ask permission to print it out show it to him? It is so very succinct in what you are trying to say. I particularly found that the line 'Revolving around the same sun' is very powerful in evoking the conflict in time and space. You can be very close in relative terms, but unbelievably far away once you want to close the distance. Though I am hesitant, I must point out that in the second stanza, 'hopless' would probably read better as 'hopelessness', unless you had another reason for keeping it that way. Excellent piece, keep up with the greating writing. |
