| LittleDoe 2007-11-17 ch 1, | abuseBeautiful words! I wasn't able to find a ryming/rythem pattern, wich kind of threw my reading off, (I like to read stuff aloud to myself) but the words and the imagery are inspiring. It is wonderful when there are those that leave us with inspiring memories. Such loved ones never truly leave us. God bless you. ~LittleDoe |
| Oona-ee 2007-11-15 ch 1, | abuseAww, I really loved reading this. It made me remember my grandmother who passed away a few years ago. After reading this, I realized that I should have cherished those moments I had with her even a bit more. I actually let my mom read this poem, and a smile that reached her ears spread across her face as she mumbled the words, "I knew she wasn't really gone." Overall, you have created a wonderful poem. Many kudos to you. :D -- Oona-ee |

| painted.music 2007-04-19 ch 1, | abusekonban wa This reminds me a bit of my great-grandma -- Grandma Norma. When I used to visit her with my grandpa, she was already in an old-age home. We used to visit her, and you could just see how her eyes would light up at seeing us; it was really beautiful. She loved to spend time with us and would always be so excited just to hug and kiss her great-grandkids. I really loved her. She passed away when I was ten, and I'm sorry to say that I don't have that many memories of her. But this poem brought back many memories that I didn't know I had. It was a very powerful piece, and I absolutely loved it. Your reader can really see your affection for your great-grandmother. Never stop writing! Ki o tsukete nee, tomodachi -Shan- |
