Cynthia M 8/29/10 . chapter 1I like the imagery here, it's quite beautiful. I like the diction of this poem, it suits it. Excellent poem, and keep up the great work. :) |
Sarah-Brighteyes 8/21/07 . chapter 1Beautiful and sappy... sometimes that is just what someone needs. I loved the water images of teardrops and current... it kept with a nice little theme. I enjoyed this. Sometimes one is just in the mood for something sappy and romantic. You hit it! |
Nobody-n-Particular 7/12/06 . chapter 1Pleasant and calm. |
The Postscript 1/26/06 . chapter 1Nice...I really had to read this slowly to absorb all the words you combined so exquisitly. I get this picture of raindrops - metaphorically tears - also perhaps baptizism or the symbolism of something new (rebirth) and of course the waters love like the river you mentioned. Another might be the sunshine spilling to the ground. You really give this simple form - water - and make it into so many different things. Wonderful work. There is definitly more than what meets the eye. Keep it up. |
