Ice Dagger 2006-02-08 . chapter 1The rhyme scheme is simplistic and elegant, and you capture the sense of sadness and almost an apprehension of forgetting. The one leaving is saying that sorrow will be forgotten, but the one staying is almost afraid to forget and will refuse to. I know that I refuse to forget that emotion, and it's nice to see someone else who shares that in such a beautifully written poem. Good work! |
