I can't say that I felt bad for him. I was really excited with the ending. It's a bit like Pan's Labyrinth. If you've seen that movie. Or perhaps El Orfanato (The Orphanage). It makes you sad a bit, then you realize that they ended up where they wanted/needed to be.

Good job! Can't wait to read more stories!

AW! That was so sad...and happy...it was a strange mix. But I loved it.

Wow. you did a wonderful job with this. I am really suprised how it turned out. When I started, I never expected the happy part of the story were actually his dreams, and the sad part his real life. I only realised that about a 3/4 of the way through. when I figured it out, I was so schocked, because that meant that Joey, Stuart, and Marc weren't real. Everything that was happening, wasn't real. The reality was he lived in a boarding school, his only boyfriend was abusive, and he was sleeping his dream life. Wow. I love the idea, the execution is brilliant, and the whole story flows so well. Good job. Although, I'm a bit of a fan for happy endings. this makes me really sad.

...that's just... MEAN... **cries** I wanted Joey to show up in real life, and make him want to wake up, but... **cries some more** this is horrible! That's so mean! he's dead, isn't he? Or dying? And he's living out this fake world, which is so pathetic... **sniffle** (And somewhat like me. But minus the sleeping pills and the tragic life. But I just like sleep because I'm lazy XD)

but... yeah. Why couldn't you have made it a happy ending? Why? **crushed**

I'm glad his dream self had a happy ending, but I'm so sad for his real self. Reall well-written. Please update!

Aw, sad. But sweet!! It took me a little while to figure out what was going on, but when I did I was like 'Wow, that's great!' Thoroughly enjoyed that story. ^_^

*nods in great approval* Very nicely done. That was some great writing on your part as usual, but this was something else. Something with which one can easily identify, and yet unique in application and form. Excellent descriptions as usual - it wasn't overdone and yet was completely clear. Great balance, great idea, great fic.

I lurved it, amazing work I've gots ta' say. I'll admit it though...the ending made me feel bittersweet, both sad AND happy for what he chose to do in the end.

Reading this though, most of the time, I forgot this was a dream. And that's good. I was feeling like Alex felt, that this dream was reality and it was reality that needed ta' be the dream.

It was beautiful though, and I feel that as much as I may ramble on, it won't help, so I'll shut up now.
