I am most definatly hoping for an early spring, though it's been a rather mild winter.

Anyway, nice job with the haikus. I can't really give you much in the way of suggestions, as I am NOT a haiku writer, but I think you did a very nice job.

I like it, ode to the Marmota marmota, Paxatauny Phil, who is fortunate enough to have but only one chore a year, so hopefully he can concentrate on the task and do a good job. The alders and hazelnuts with catkins now are hung and there are little furry buds on the ** willows so spring is unfolding nonetheless.
