Oh, this is intriguing (I totally can't spell that word). I've always had a bit of a soft spot for sci-fi, and this really sounds professional. You use the terminology well, and I feel as if the whole situation is totally plausible. Also, I like Bligh, which is highly unusual for me since I am quite prone to hate female characters. I love your style, and even though this is only the first chapter, all I want to do is turn the page and read some more. Lovely start. I hope you update soon!
