What a lovely piece. It instilled in my mind an image of friends having an agreement regarding likes and dislikes. The poem was short, but the words were powerful.

hah, so playful. the beginning kinda threw me off. . . as if you were trying to speak street french instead of the actual, but i thought it wasn't so, 'cause the guy laughed. it's right in the sense that it's street but the actual is je ne blahblahabalha. heh, cute.

Wow...I was just talking to a friend about this, flipping through her book and trying to speak French - telling her it was such a beautiful language. She laughed at me as I tried to pronouce a few words. She stopped laughing when I handed her my German book...

Nice poem...and good use of the bold and italics. Keep writing.

I however, DO speak French. =)One little thing...it would be, 'je NE parle pas francais'...sort of a double negative but there you have it. By the way, I love it. 'You'll sound so pretty' ... absolutely beautiful. =) x

okay, lmfao! okay! the title just totally got me hooked onto this poem ! cuz well... it reminds me of this random comic i saw on a door the other day. It's like... can i have an escargot? and then it's like.. sure... and hten it's like... everything sounds better in french, alrighty read everything else after i get back from school... pretty nice. *thumbs up*

oh god i love it! i have a slight obsession with the french langauage...and ur right, it does sound so pretty. great format in this too- wonderful piece.

I had to blink until I realized this wasn't an angsty haiku! Nice, lighthearted and fun. I loved it (though I don't understand French).
