I love this poem. Blatant expression of Singaporeans' apathy, beautiful imagery.

(I'm Singaporean too.)

I love this - for the blatant truth of apathy.

Which begs the question, do we value some lives more than others. The poem was short, but ever so poignant.-Cindy Moon *)

such things always make me so sad, but then i also sometimes think, if we were to mourn for every single persons passing..or the violence of it these days, we'd spend it all as such, but it is also a very powerful point about what people deem significant

I like it. Nice imagery - I can totally imagine stepping on a piece of crumpled yellow newspaper explaining the woman's death. Good job!

*cries* it's so sad. Of course, I know the current situation in the Philippines in relation to the stampede, seeing that my mum is watching it 24/7 on our pay TV, here in Australia. I'm half Filipino, by the way. It's a true tragedy and my prayers are with Filipinos, especially those caught in this tragedy. A very simple, yet touching poem. Well done, and keep writing.
