OOH... nice haiku! i like this:) lovely imagery... never thought of flowers clawing their way out, but it's actually a great image... gives them a strenght and power:)

Wow, this is sure a different take on the renewal of spring, and I really like it! No tender shoots delicately yawning and stretching their way through the soft wet ground, but a spring with its teeth bared, foreshadowing "nature, red of tooth and claw"!
