After a moment I swear I almost thought this was romance, the description of the rain gave me an idea of a makeout. The kiss so idmite as they are soaked by the rain but they don't care, the friend was in pain and then the lover wanted to protect her.

'Let the crystal droplets wash away your pain'

That reminded me of tears being washed away. Wow, I loved that line. 'crystal droplets', good description.

'‘Cause we’re gonna be best friends for eternity'

Once I read this line, I realised it was for best friends. I imaged my friend and I dancing in the rain when we were younger... Wow... This poem affected, well done.
