Awesome imagery, absolutely amazing. I understand the connection between time and fear, the more time passes the more we reproach ourselves for wasting it and the more we think of how little time we have left. Reminds me of the Roman writer and philosopher Seneca who said that we die everyday because every minute that is past is a part of death, it can never be retrieved.
