This just slithers. The imagery is great also, love the second stanza especially.

'opium hearts' 'feathery eyes' and so many other beautiful lines like that had me amazed. it was just so gorgeous. you rock.

i love the imagery and secrecy, of sadness and light

and i quote: "the stars teasingly beckon to me; curling their wispy fingers; batting silver lashes..." it's almost like a dream. your use of metaphor is commendable. in free verses like this, it's really easy to convey feelings but you've done it exceedingly well. i like the fact that you repeated secretly in the end of each stanza. :)
