It was really good Rachel! The one thing I'd suggest is using pronouns a bit more often. I got tired reading "Cyrus" over and over, but the story itself (the important part) was good. Keep it up Rachel! (or else)

You've got a nice, ironic tone here in your writing, and the humor has potential, I just feel it needs a bit of refining. Maybe draw out and explore some of the humor of these situations. But I did really like the story, reminded me of David Sedaris.
