Heh just found your story. Very well developed plot and the language is not forced (you wouldn't believe how many stories i've read that are supposed regency period and in between the "milady" the author will write about the colour of a dress making the girl character's eyes 'pop'). Terribly irritating.

Heh, looks like an interesting story so far. I actually started to read it, though, because I own a book called "Gentle Rogue" by Johanna Lindsey, which I've read several times. I also noted that your story has several interesting paralells. For instance, the pirate's name in the book that I own is James Malory. Yours is James Ardsley. They both take place in London, though Gentle Rogue takes place in 1818, and yours is 1816.
Now, don't get me wrong, you've officially been sucked into reading your story, but you haven't happened to have read Gentle Rogue, have you?
