Hey, science still doesn't quite explain emotions, as its too concrete and emotions are abstract. Abstract thinking might ask what is something (darkness/cold) in and of itself. Not, what is it in relation to something else. We measure darkness as the lack of light, but what is darkness without the ligh?t What is it alone? It is something. And physics won't explain it.
