Oh my god. Ping? ping? That word alone hits the reader so hard. I just might stick one in randomly into a poem now, haha. Great job with this, the imagery is subtle and stunning.

This is my favorite line:

And hear it hit—ping—

the metallic clink, of a link of my love.

This creates such vividly haunting images. Kind of like you guide the reader step by step through this. Very well written.

Wow. That's some powerfully possessive love. Lovely stuff created with sentence fragments. "And something bites./Your fear." is probably my favorite part. So wonderfully ruthless. Yum.
