Unsung 2008-12-21 . chapter 1
You seriously contradict yourself here. You said that "Bush did nothing but throw a fit", and later say that "Bush announced the imminent attack." Going after the terrorist group who killed thousands of Americans seems like action to me.
And if you want to be angry at somebody, be angry at Bill Clinton--When he was in office, the Trade Centers were attacked with a car bomb, and he let Bin Laden (once again the perpetrator) go. He had the chance to go after him, yet he did nothing.
I highly disagree with your views. Anarchy would bring us nothing but chaos, confusion, and destruction. I believe that there are two ways that would end up: In communism or something worse. Sure, I disagree with the government on many things, but it's much better than Fascism or Communism.
With our government now, the American people have the chance to make a great living for themselves, rather than having the government hand them everything. We have to work for things, rather than just expect things to be given to us--this makes us even more spoiled and ungrateful. With democracy, we have the choice to go farther than where we are now, we can be exceptional people if we so choose.
If we were to have an anarchy, the people with power and money would take over, there would be no voice for the average person, the middle and lower classes. At least with the government we have now, we have a voice--the president isn’t the only one with the power, that’s why there’s congress and the senate, etc. Checks and Balances come into play here. While on that, let me remind you that if the president does not have the approval of congress, then he cannot do a thing, when Bush declared war, congress backed him up (a bit grudgingly, yes, but backed all the same).
Seriously, you should try and be a tad bit more subtle with your views if you are writing poetry. And try to at least give our president a little more credit, he really does try.

This poem should be under 'Religion', the way you preach on. Be a bit more subtle - it's the only reason poets are tolerated.
