Too god damned right. The US Constitution is THE greatest political document ever written (except for maybe our British Magna Carta ;-)). If only your country had stayed true to those principles...

Hello. I'd like to say that I enjoyed reading your poem. Obviously you love your country and want to change it for the better. I notice so many young Americans hating the land they live in and it disturbs me. Through my simple immigrant eyes, America isn't such a bad place to be. Here I won't be spat on or called terrible names, and my house won't be vandalized or burned down because I'm Romani Gypsy. My children have the opportunity to get a decent education and not have to worry about being abused at school or called pikey scum by even the teachers. No, America is not such a bad place to be.

I sometimes feel the same. This wasn't a bad poem, I like it.

The interesting and very, very sad thing is that you could be talking about practically any country.
