'white winter floating' - such beautiful imagery! i love it!

i somehow think that condensed to a haiku, it loses a lot of the grace. as forlorn as the images are, they connect- well, they don't. they should and they can, but the haiku format doesn't give you enough time in this particular scenario. i'd suggest a slight expansion (still short but longer than a haiku) to let the poem flesh out by itself.

and chilly bays remind me of winter whispers, cold and unfeeling
