Your poem gives another perspective, which has some truth, its probably why my wife can only read Fitzgerald after she's been drinking.

This poem reads fast and sharp and lyrically. It's well written.

i liked it cuz it kind of sounds like a song. i especially like the authors note at the end

inspirational. 'drunken halflove in the backsear' 'the final vodka and kiss adieu'. one of those things you sigh over. pretty awesome.

I'm more of a Zelda fan myself (gotta love the eccentrics) this is really good, made me feel like I was in the fifties, dancing in that smoky room with them - or lending against a brick wall and watching the taxies line up. Both of these new creations are wonderful. Keep up the good work.

I really liked this. Great idea, I'll say that first. Really cool. Also great rhyme - I mean it...great rhyme, while also sticking to the plot. It also flowed - not many people can pull off rhyme, flow, plot, and imagination all in one but you've done well. This very idea is why I'm often disappointed with my own work. I love the 3rd stanza by the way.
