And you've hit the nail dead on with that last comment... like Lennon said (may he rest in peace), "Imagine there's no countries / it isn't hard to do / nothing to kill or die for / and no religion, too." While your poem is considerably lighter on the sarcasm in that aspect, I instantly thought of "Imagine"--fantastic! This is one for the favorites. x |
