This is nice. I really liked the ending: it has a certain abruptness to it that caught me by surprise (in a good way!). The rhyming was nice and it didn’t sound at all stilted. You also kept a steady, easy-to-follow rhythm throughout the entire piece. Congratulations on a job well done!
