lovely stuff. The themes follow all the way through, and the last line is so delicate and conclusive. I'd pick my favourite lines, but thinking about it, they're all great, unusual and beautiful.

I adore the way you write. You have so much talent and it just bubbles over into fantastic works like all the stuff you have posted, including this poem. I love the almost chiding tone in this, and the imagery (as always) is just gorgeous. I love the image of the whirlpool--that's spot on. The ending is heartbreaking, but it seems so pretty that I almost don't care. And I like that feeling because I think that happens, too, in relationships like this. You know he'll break your heart, but at some point, it just doesn't matter anymore. Simply amazing work.
