This is a short, but far from simple piece, sweet in it's melancholy elegance and beautiful in phrasing. The choppy way you tell the story, short though it is, is charming and it certainly fits the character and her point of view. I love how she goes insane, drunk on poppy syrup and dies unmarked. It's an ellegy in itself. As always with your stories, I have no idea what to make of them. Most people have some hidden moral half-buired here or there, but your stories are mostly moral-less. Or are they? I don't know. All I know is that I see no morals, only a pure, flowing story.

You write amazing one-shots, by the way. I can never seem to get everything I'm trying to say out in one little piece, and you manage it in 500 words. -__-:: So jealous.
