Firstly, poetry isn't my thing. I can't really get it down, especially not freeverse. I get too obsessed with structure to make a good poet. This is short, and, while rhyming, doens't form any conventional rhyme scheme. I like it, even though I've never read anything similar before (but, like I said, I don't do poetry). There's something in it that makes is resonate with your soul, sing with your spirit, poetic things like that. "Photo-negative ivory skin," is a quewl line ^_^
