Yes! I would love it if this story were made into a book! I would buy it in a heartbeat. As nice as it is to read your stories online, nothing beats the feeling of having an actual book in my hands.

I actually WOULD buy it. Mind you, I don't have much money. But it's amazing.

There were very, very few mistakes, and you can take it from me because my mom is an editor of sorts and I've been editing since forever... well, officially since third grade when my teacher asked me to correct something of his. (No, I am not trying to be funny. Yes, I DO have too much time on my hands.)

I loved absolutely every bit of this, because in a way it was a classic story, you know? Like, the story line wasn't hugely original, but the way you did it was absolutely perfect (and unique). The dream sequence was when I really started to realize you were pretty good, because I had NO idea at ALL that it was a dream at first. XD That was perfect. And the second part just made it even better, all the love and emotions and Jason calling him "baby" was so sweet I thought I'd need a visit to the dentist. I lovelovelove this, and the simple message that you can't help who you fall in love with is something I, and everyone, can identify with to a very deep degree. And it was so heart-warming and hopeful and just lovely. I loved it.



I would recommend for publishing that you collect a few stories of this length, maybe a bit more or less, and publish it as a collection of novellas. You could focus on love or teen issues or whatever, even homosexuality if that's what you prefer. It sounds like you have some good messages to get out there and I'm sure we'd all love to read them.

So! Off to look at your page, and see what else you've got. By the way, I LOVED the chapter lengths. Seriously, don't worry about it. They weren't much more than ten thousand words per, were they? Ten thousand is a perfect chunk for me, because it means you're invested and you actually have something of SUBSTANCE to read. Having just two parts means that you can also get the scenes to flow better together, without having to break between chapters. It's good, seriously. I hate all the one-thousand word chapters floating around, it's a drag. This fic was so refreshing in so many ways. Definite favorite.

(P.S. I always get on people's cases about not having an original writing style, which is probably the hardest part about writing literature. And you don't have that problem. Somehow, the way you convey emotion and relationships crafts this entirely unique reading experience, and it's wonderful. Bravo, for serious. =D)

I thought that was a better part than the first one. Like I said, you have a lot of potential for non-sexual writing aswell. Keep up the good work. I'd love to see one of your stories be something other than romance and see how greatly you do.
