Reviews For: Whatever It Takes

This is a well-written war song, for I can visualise troops of 100% brainwashed soldiers singing or chanting this with all their might. Well, it reminds me of an old poem that satirises war. In that poem, soldiers are so impoverished that they have to share armour. However, they still insist that they must continue to sharpen their spears, in order to kill off all their enemies.

Wow, that's exactly what I imagine when I think of war. This a great poem/song!

I'm not one who normally reads very much poetry but on the assumption that the tone of this poem was mostly somewhat satirical and you're not actually of these views, I quite liked it. It reminded me somewhat of a song I like by a band called Fischerspooner called We Need A War.

I take it that this is a citicism of the American war machine (or any other war machine that thinks its cause is noble or virtuous for that matter) and as that it is quite effective. Very nice.
