So true... So well-spoken... The words you use don't come on too strong, but they are firm - almost... convicting? Yes, perhaps that's the word I'm looking for in my cluttered brain! Very nice poem. And I agree completely - some of the things people fear are laughable, and some are just pitiful.

I particularly liked this part: [To cower beneath the sheets./ To turn their heads the opposite way] Such an awesome, yet sad, image. Makes me think of how many people are afraid to stand up for the One who gave them life - not to mention, ETERNAL life.
