Oh god. This is written with such emotion and insight that I wonder if the author has been in Myra's situation.

It's relateable from the point of view of both characters, and it's also desperately sad from the point of view of both characters. Am I supposed to hate Myra because she can't accept Shelley as she is, or identify with her? Am I supposed to hate Shelley for not taking care of herself, or identify with her because she's not good enough for her partner? It raises interesting questions and an unsettling commentary onto who we are. In other words, it was thought-provoking and sad, and I liked it immensely.

Is she having an affaire or something with her yoga teacher?

I feel bad for Shelley, not so much Myra. But, it is a sad story and too bad Shelley's being led on.

This is very intreting but personally I hate the name "Dora" it's so * but besides the name "dora" this story is a keeper. _*

this is like my biggest fear. i hardly ever read fiction so feel special. i really like this. the reality hurts.

Very nice descriptions & details (such as the drop of sweat between Dora's breasts). Very tasteful. You have a real mastery of language.

I really liked this story. Poor Shelley. Myra should tell her how she feels, but everyone knows its easier sad than done.
