A painful account of real life, all summed up in 14 lines using the Shakesperian sonnet style. A beautiful piece of work. The emotions ride high in this one, added with hinted distress and a feeling of a loss that can never be found. You end the poem with a depressing note, in which I believe is a good thing. No one learns from fairy tale happy endings. The reason is because there is no true happy endings like those in life. This is why the ending has such an impact. A very good piece of work you have.
