oh... that was good. I can honestly say I was spellbound. Though at the end, I can't help but wonder, when it said, "Petty, perhaps, but now the girl would never be as good with the flute as her father, or as her grandfather might have been." Was it supposed to be pretty? Or is petty right? (Sorry, it's probably already been pointed out) But, I disgress. It was a breathtaking read, and I can't wait for more. --Nam

very nice. you portray the impatience of the fae perfectly, and though gruesome, you had some excellent descriptions of the main character eating the bird. anyway, excellent story. ny ideas when the next Children of the Wilds chapter will be up?
