This story seemed real sweet to me, which is probably a sign that I am just wrong. But, what fun is it being right, anyway?

Wonderful, from the spot-on perfect beginning, all the way to the end.

Haunting. That's really all there is to say. I liked your tone, your characterization, but mostly this was haunting.
