The rest of this was decent with potential to be a tear-jerker if brushed up. "He would be torn from me, from my body, from my heart. All for the sake of a kingdom that would never return my love." - Lovely nuggest of insight. I'd love to see this point explored more. Duty versus desire. A king's responsibility to his people versus a man's personal life and love. Always a fun topic to probe into. The beginning is a great hook. :) |
