I adore your poetry. I am delighted by a "pungent expression" for I have seen many, though never found such a perfect description before.

I enjoyed this, it had a humour to it that I interpretted as almost absurdly uncomfortable. Your word choice is excellent, the use of the word 'befuddled' fitted perfectly.
