I like this... the wishing and cake thing is awesome

"On every star,In every starless sky."snazzy contradiction. The rest of the poem was lacking something until i read those lines, love it. I think if it iwas a bit shorter it would have more focus and impact. Just my opinion though :)

I love the cynicism at the beginning and then the return to at least a vague recollection of innocence at the end.
