hmm seems to ba very masculine type of poem i really hope you dont take offense at that. i love the way it seems to stay so detatched from everything despite the fact that there are a lot of emtions to be considered.

I agree with the previous reviewer, your word choice all ties in beautifully together. On a nit picking point, it's "cabernet" not "cabinet"!

I like your language in this and the images it creates. A very unique way to look at the school house. An interesting contrast between "cabinet sauvignon" and "coal-tinted spectacles." The latter phrase makes me think of an industrial coal mining town and I think the rest of the poem, with its references to chalk residue and crumbling, etc goes in that direction too. "Cabinet sauvignon" seems a little out of place. Maybe you mean it to be.
