it kinda reminded me of the story His Favorite Mistress by Tracy Anne Warren. but that's good since that one was my favorite from the trilogy, lol

I like your idea, and your story...since it's set in my favorite era and you get inspiration from one of my favorite authors (Julia Quinn).

But of couse, being a fan of such writings, i would like to point out that although sophie and ethan are ten years apart, no one's going to think it outrageous because during that time, it was actually in fashion to marry someone who's more than a decade older...

you said in your profile that you got the names from the bridgerton series, and if you're following her, you might have patterned it her way, because as far as I am aware, the Bridgerton siblings have spouses who are not more than 10 years older or younger than they are...

but if you would broaden your horizon, in other authors' works, the age difference may be more than 10 years and no one's going to take note of it, unless the man is 40 years old and the girl is merely 18...

and another thing, although the story is interesting and very promising in its own way, it would sound more convincing if the language and the way the characters speak is attuned with the era you are trying to portray.

Plus, servants are not allowed to speak or suggest anything to their betters because that is considered disrespectful...like the way Jenny had said to Ethan to greet Sophie because it would be the proper thing to do. Usually, they just stay silent, and just let it spread in the household staff as gossip, but never let the master in on the news.

Hmm just wanted to point out, if Michael and Lita are 33, then Caitlyn can't be 48 she has to be around 50/51.. because she gave birth to them when she was 17/18.. and Luke would be 58/59..

Just thought you should know..

This story was excellent to say the least. I loved every moment of reading it. The ending was just perfect. Even though I would have liked to have a found out the sex of the baby. It gives me a chance to imagine.

aw i loved this story so much. even though i usually stay away from stories that aren't really modern i loved this one because it seemed modern kind of lol anyways great story!
