Tranquil Thorns 2008-04-14 . chapter 2An enchanting poem.
To me it speaks of someone (vainly) trying to get through to another, stubborn person.
I loved the last two lines - 'Let go of fear-
And let go of me.'
Sadly I could only read the English translation, but it was fun trying to get the gist of the Elvish version. I probably butchered all the pronunciations, but it seems like a very lovely language besides.
I'm curious about how/when you learned this language. Is this based on Tolkien's world? |
