| With Rhyme and Reason 2006-05-23 ch 1, | Hm... I didn't read the original, so this would be "in general." I think you have a marvelous eye for natural beauty and manmade beauty. You manage to connect them here in a way I've never seen before. I can't write pretty letters. I'm okay at poetry, but an actual letter would just be like, "Dear Sister: Hey. What's up? Europe is great. Adios. Ciao. etc.." My only "critique" is that it got a little long. I'd be fine with a few paragraphs. It's a little repetitive, but I understand the importance of this repetition, so I'm not completely vexed. You, pal, have a "way with words." It's really very good. I'm studying abroad in Italy next year, so hearing about European beauty really excites me. Thanks for writing this! Nice job. |

Spain is indeed an aesthetically beautiful country, with a fascinating and extremely varied history. That is a wonderful opportunity you've had, to live there for a time. And I'm so glad you decided to write about it. -There’s beauty in sitting inside with rain tapping on the window and crying becasue things are falling apart- Typo. *because -whatever I’ve got between my ribs swells up and I get goose bumps even if I’m not col.- *cold -But and I am I can only offer these two pages.- That doesn't make sense. Is there a typo in there somewhere? -I’d write you so well the shiver I feel when I cross the Puente de Hierro at night that you would feel it too just from reading about it.- M, that's the way I would love to be able to write. That's what I wish people could feel when they read my stories. This was a beautiful little piece, Almozara. I hope your sister does read it.
