pixy-dizzy 3/25/06 . chapter 4One of the greatest tragedies of just...war in general is that people lose themselves in it; lose who they are. And the Nazis are a prime example of that, and you touched beautifully on it. Like...I don't know how to express it. There's something just a little mentally unstable about the narrator of this piece. And this reminds me a little of 'A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich', and I like the seeming simplicity of this story and the writing. Lovely and terrifying, all at once. Great job. |
