Xerophyte 6/20/06 . chapter 1It's a drop of water, hurling itself into a pool of water you'd mistaken for glass, and ripples surfacing across something you thought would be still forever. I LOVE THAT STANZA WITH ALL MY TINY LITTLE HEART! Wow. I like how the stanzas before are all very harsh and then this stanza...is just a wow. I like the relation from the title to the poem, and I love the song that inspired it.-The former Scribeo and Andi Carmichael |
checkerboxed 6/17/06 . chapter 1Oh. I love this one, a lot. I think it has something to do with the darkness of it, and how the reader is forced to accept the darkness. Hmm. And I especially liked "every gritty/grain of sadness." It gives the whole thing a very downtoearth feeling. Love it. Thanks for the review to 'Magic is OUt Tonight'... one of the longest I"ve ever recieved. Made my morning. Have a great day, |
Plinky 3/17/06 . chapter 1Incredible. Absolutely amazing writing. So powerful. "it's like a smile that doesn't reach your eyes." Fantastic writing. "exactly the way you want to feel." That's SO it. (Sorry to go all american.) "tearing every gritty grain of sadness away" Amazing. The last stanza is perfect. You are an awe-inspiring poet. never stop writing. (I'm in a funny old mood tonight. Amazing poem.) |
