This story looks interesting. I like the scene between Sophia and her father. It's really sad when Sophia's father died. Gosh, it's horrible of her mother not to write to her for three years! And she married Lucas a week after Sophia's father's death! That's very suspicious. And I have a feeling that Sir Brandt's death wasn't accidental. Oh, I like Mark. I hope he stays faithful to Sophia and doesn't turn out to be the bad guy. Oy!

I love this. The relationship between Sophia and her father is sweet and the descriptions you used throughout this chapter were wonderful. The legend concerning the dragon adds to the fluffiness a feel of forboding, as well. I wonder, have you read the DaVinci Code? One of the main character's nicknames is, in fact, princess Sophia.
